Planing for Southeast Asia

It's official: we have resigned from our jobs, purchased plane tickets, been filled with vaccinations, and after four years of planning to plan this trip it's finally going to happen. There is a lot to take care of in the next month before we leave, but it feels good to have things under way. Life right now is compromised of two separate worlds; the one we are used to where we generally know what to expect with day to day responsibilities, and the life that we are planing and preparing to enter where we have no idea what lies ahead. I am excited to enter on this new journey, but, having said that, there is also a level of uneasiness about all that is unknown. Planing our trip on the fly makes good logical sense to me but I imagine that is one of the ways in which this trip is going to challenge me as I have struggled with wanting to have all the details lined up before leaving. I now attempt to let go and live in the deeper understanding that the better things of life come to us when we are free to live in the moment and not be consumed by worry.
